How using Coschedule saves me time

With CoSchedule, you can have a shareable editorial calendar, a social media planner, and a place to keep all your working files together in one place.

What I truly love about CoSchedule is how it integrates with many different applications. You are able to keep all your work together in one place and not have to keep jumping from screen to screen. With CoSchedule you can get more done in less time. You can connect your Evernote account and actually write your posts in Evernote. The Integration with this app will convert your Evernote draft to a WordPress draft so you can keep all your work in one place. You can even fully write your post in CoSchedule. You can connect Google Docs and keep any of your working documents together with the project. And with the Zapier integration you can connect just about any app you use for yourself or your team and it will all update as you work. It really is the best way to keep yourself and/or your team organized.

Social Helpers and Templates

One of the best tools on CoSchedule is their Social Helpers and Template features. Basically, you create a template once for each social media and create social helpers. CoSchedule then does the rest for you! H1-H3 is basically three different header topics. A question, a controversial statement, a humorous statement, a snippet, a quote based on my research, etc. I will edit the messages here and it will automatically populate in the template.

The template is where you set up your social media channels posting frequency and type of message. For example, if you want to schedule posts to Facebook once a week with 3 different wording options, you create the template for the times and dates and input the social helper shortcodes. Then you edit the social helper wording and you’re done!

CoSchedule schedules your social media content with the wording you want on the times and dates you prefer. This really makes posting content to social media a breeze because you don’t have to individually schedule hundreds of social media messages. Notes, tasks, and Events

You can write notes on anything you need and place it on the calendar. You can also add special events and tasks to your calendar so you are always on top of everything that needs to be done for a project. Writing down events helps me to remember when there is a special holiday coming up where I will need to plan a campaign around it or a trip that I would like to blog/vlog about. It also helps me plan my days so I know when I have to work on a project before leaving for a trip. Planning with the Editorial Calendar

I start with an idea for a post. I will write it down in the calendar and populate the Social Media template so it fills in the days that the social media campaign will go out. That way, when you look at the calendar, you can see when and where content will be going out.[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.21.1″]

Labels to make things clear

You can create labels that make it easier to see what everything is on your calendar. I am using it like a stoplight. Red is brainstorming, yellow is in the works, green is go. That way, as soon as I open the calendar I can visually see what needs to be worked on.[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.21.1″]

Evergreen content with ReQueue

Your social media messages can be marked as Evergreen and ReQueue will continue to populate your messages in the empty spaces on your calendar. This integration between CoSchedule and ReQueue is pretty magnificent because trying to find and figure out what social media messages you should continue to share is a lot of work. But with CoSchedule, if you know it is evergreen content, you can just let ReQueue know and it will continue to share your content on a schedule.

Conclusion

As a stay at home mom, my time is very limited. Because of CoSchedule, I am able to plan my work around everything that needs to be performed for a certain project and schedule it all in advance.
